Grounded in the Lord Devotional
Before we move into all that’s happening in our church, let’s take a moment to pause and breathe.
Life has a way of pulling us in a thousand directions, work, family, schedules, worries. But the presence of God isn’t found in the noise or hurry. It’s in the stillness where our hearts find rest and our souls remember who we belong to.
In Psalm 46:10, God says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Stillness isn’t just the absence of motion, it’s the awareness of divine presence. When we slow down, even for a breath, we give space for peace to enter and for God’s voice to whisper grace into the chaos.
Take a moment right now to pause. Remember that you are not alone in whatever this week holds. God is with you, in your waiting, your working, your wondering, and your worship.
Breath Prayer
(Inhale) “Be still…”
(Exhale) “…and know You are God.”
